John C. Eisenhart
Mr. Eisenhart focuses his practice on U.S. and International patent prosecution. He has extensive experience obtaining patent protection for all manner of mechanical systems, imaging and displays, telephony and voice over IP systems, semiconductor fabrication and packaging techniques, electronics, computer programming, optics and biomedical engineering technology. Mr. Eisenhart also has extensive experience in drafting and prosecuting design patent applications. In addition to his patent prosecution experience, Mr. Eisenhart has provided numerous clients with patent infringement and non-infringement opinions as part of pre-litigation investigations.
Mr. Eisenhart maintains an active U.S. and International trademark prosecution practice for a large variety of clients. He has assisted clients in establishing International trademark protection programs for a variety of different consumer products and services.
Mr. Eisenhart has also participated in multiple patent infringement litigations in various Federal Courts throughout the country. His litigation experience includes pre-litigation investigations, discovery, trial and appeals.
Prior to and while attending law school, Mr. Eisenhart worked as a U.S. Navy contractor helping to design, integrate and build radio communications systems for new U.S. Navy combatant and amphibious assault ships.
Mr. Eisenhart is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, and is a member of the Virginia Bar. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and the Supreme Court of Virginia.
