Arthur R. Crawford
Mr. Crawford has been a member of the firm since its founding and a registered patent attorney since 1969. He has over forty years of experience in patent application and prosecution and in patent infringement litigation.
Mr. Crawford's legal experience includes all phases of patent preparation and prosecution before the Patent Office, as well as patent infringement, discovery and litigation in the Federal courts. His technical areas of expertise are primarily in the life sciences and include fine chemicals and fragrances, pharmacologically active synthetic and plant-derived organic compounds, immunology, nutraceuticals, methods of medical treatment, and diagnostic methods and reagents.
He is a member of the District of Columbia and Virginia Bar Associations, the American Intellectual Property Law Association and is a registered Pharmacist in Ohio and the District of Columbia. Mr. Crawford has lectured abroad concerning the U.S. requirements for depositing biological materials.
