RAYMOND Y. MAH received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland in 1991. Mr. Mah received his Juris Doctor Degree with honors from George Washington University in 1996.

While attending law school, Mr. Mah worked as a patent examiner in the United States Patent and Trademark Office examining patent applications in the fields of electrical measurement and test equipment and magnetic resonance imaging. Prior to joining Nixon & Vanderhye in 2000, Mr. Mah was an attorney with the law firm of Pillsbury Madison & Sutro. He has extensive experience in all aspects of patent preparation and prosecution and has successfully argued before the Patent Office Board of Appeals.

Mr. Mah is a member of the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society, the Eta Kappa Nu Electrical and Computer Engineering Honor Society and the American Intellectual Property Law Association. He is a registered patent attorney and is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Virginia.
