SHERYL L. De LUCA graduated from Georgetown University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and International Management. From 1991 to 1996 she worked at PRC Inc. as a contracts administrator and business analyst. She began working at Nixon & Vanderhye in 1996 in a paralegal and law clerk capacity. She earned her Juris Doctor in 1998 from the George Mason University School of Law and accepted a position as a full-time attorney with Nixon & Vanderhye. Ms. De Luca is a member of the Virginia State Bar. She is also admitted to practice before the District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. She specializes in patent, trademark, unfair competition, copyright and trade secret litigation, and intellectual property licensing matters. Her practice also includes copyright prosecution and domestic and international trademark prosecution, including opposition and cancellation proceedings. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the International Trademark Association and the Federal Circuit Bar Association.
